Nima Aghaeepour

Nima Aghaeepour is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair for Research (Data Science) at Stanford University, where involvement spans from Assistant Professor to current roles since January 2013. Aghaeepour's research focuses on artificial intelligence, immunology, and medicine. Additional positions include Scientific Advisory Board Member at various organizations such as Medeloop, StartX, Parallel Bio, MaraBio Systems Inc., WellSIM BioMedical Technologies, January AI, and VasoGnosis. Aghaeepour completed a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at The University of British Columbia, where a research assistantship was held at the British Columbia Cancer Agency. Education includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University and participation in the Stanford Ignite Entrepreneurship Program. An undergraduate degree in Computer Science was obtained from the University of Tehran.
