David Almeda

David Almeda serves as Principal at Mainsail Consulting, LLC, starting January 2024, where expertise is leveraged to enhance organizational and individual effectiveness for CHROs and CEOs. Almeda is a member of the Human Capital Center Advisory Board at The Conference Board and serves on the Board of Advisors for Stash, a personal finance app. Additionally, a Board of Directors member for The Front Door Agency Inc., Almeda contributes to addressing poverty through holistic service approaches. As a Guest Lecturer at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, Almeda teaches crisis leadership. Previously, Almeda held the position of Chief People Officer at UKG and Kronos, focusing on workforce management and human capital solutions, with earlier experience as Vice President of Global Human Resources at Staples. Academic credentials include a Doctoral degree from The Wharton School, a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Rivier University, and a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Plymouth State University.
