Chuck Huber

Chuck Huber has a diverse work experience in the field of biostatistics. Chuck is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Biostatistics at New York University since August 2021. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at StataCorp starting from June 2012, where they served as a Senior Statistician until July 2018, then as an Associate Director of Statistical Outreach until June 2020, and eventually as the Director of Statistical Outreach. Before joining StataCorp, Chuck worked at Texas A&M Health Science Center where they held the positions of Assistant Professor of Biostatistics from January 2005 until August 2011, Associate Professor of Biostatistics from September 2011 until July 2012, and Adjunct Associate Professor of Biostatistics from June 2012 until present. Chuck began their career at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in August 1996 as a Research Assistant and later became a Senior Research Assistant from January 1998 to December 2004.

Chuck Huber completed their post-doctoral studies in Human/Medical Genetics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained their PhD in Biostatistics from the same university from 1999 to 2004. Chuck also earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Biostatistics from UTHealth Houston, studying from 1996 to 1999.

Before pursuing their degrees in biostatistics, Chuck Huber earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where they attended from 1993 to 1995. Prior to their MA degree, they completed their undergraduate education at Sam Houston State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology/Philosophy between 1987 and 1992.

Chuck Huber's academic journey began at Clear Creek High School, where they completed their high school education from 1983 to 1987.
