Christopher Dauer

Christopher Dauer serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the State Policy Network since October 2025, driving the mission to promote federalism and achieve significant policy outcomes through a robust 50-state network. Prior to this role, Dauer held various leadership positions at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University from September 2011 to September 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing research programming, operations, and external relations. Earlier in career, Dauer was involved in sales and marketing leadership roles at companies such as Evalve, Inc. and St. Francis Medical Technologies, in addition to serving as a General Partner at Ursa Technology Partners. Dauer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and History from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
