Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Smith is a data scientist at State Farm ® since November 2012, currently on a developmental assignment focused on automated data science and machine learning. Prior roles include Senior Statistician, where Jeffrey designed measurement instruments for customer experience and leveraged advanced statistical methodologies. As a Senior Research Analyst, Jeffrey led customer studies to enhance organizational understanding of customer experience. Previous experience includes a Graduate Research Assistantship at St. Cloud State University, where software was created for data simulation, and various software development roles at The University of Iowa, contributing to the design and deployment of web applications. Jeffrey holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Marketing. Additional credentials include NanoDegrees in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing from Udacity.
