William Shelstad, Ph.D., is currently a Senior User Experience Researcher at State Farm® and a Human Factors Doctoral Candidate at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where their research spans user experience, virtual/augmented reality, gaming, and purchase intention. They have contributed to the Research in User eXperience (RUX) Lab and have worked on various industry contracts analyzing user interactions with smart devices and online shopping behaviors. Previously, William completed an M.A. in Human Factors Psychology at Wichita State University and held roles as a UX Research Intern and Lab Attendant at Penn State University, gaining extensive experience in user experience research and teaching.
