Julia Rothe

Julia Rothe has a diverse work experience. Julia started their career at Hamburg Süd in 2009 as a Specialist Bunker Controlling. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Specialist Logistics Technology (Working student) at Hamburg Süd. Julia then joined Winkelmann Consult GmbH & Co. KG as a Working student - Consultant from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they returned to Hamburg Süd and served as a Specialist Trade Coordination, where they handled various responsibilities such as trade coordination, market analysis, and budget planning until 2018. Julia then moved on to Hapag-Lloyd AG as a Manager Global Tender Management from 2019 to 2020. Julia then rejoined Statista in 2019 as an Analyst for Business Intelligence Projects. Julia progressively moved up the ranks and held the positions of Senior Analyst and Team Lead for Business Intelligence Projects before becoming the Team Lead for Market and Competitive Intelligence in 2023.

Julia Rothe pursued their education at the University of Hamburg from 2010 to 2014, where they completed a degree in Economics with a specific focus on Statistics. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, Julia completed an apprenticeship as a shipping merchant at Hamburg Süd.
