Lisa Simon

Lisa Simon has a diverse work experience in accounting and audit. Lisa currently serves as the Head of Accounting at Statista since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as Manager, Steuerberaterin, and Prokuristin at EBS GmbH WPG StBG from July 2021 to November 2022. Lisa also spent several years at KPMG Deutschland, where they held multiple roles including Assistant Manager - Audit from October 2019 to June 2021, Senior Associate - Audit from October 2018 to September 2019, and Associate - Audit | Risk & Compliance Services from October 2017 to September 2018. Before joining KPMG, Lisa worked as an Assistant & Tutor at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen from October 2014 to August 2017. Lisa started their career with internships at KPMG Deutschland in 2017 and 2013.

Lisa Simon earned a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) degree in Business Administration from The University of Göttingen in 2015. Lisa then pursued a Master of Science (M. Sc.) degree in Finance, Accounting, and Taxes from the same university, which they completed in 2017. In 2012, Lisa attended Goethe University Frankfurt to study economics, and in 2011, they briefly studied medicine at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Additionally, Lisa obtained the certification of Steuerberaterin (Certified Tax Advisor) from Steuerberaterkammer Hamburg Körperschaft d. ö. Rechts in February 2021.
