John Beler

John Beler is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in both public service and private sectors. Beler served as a Senior Communications Advisor and held the position of Executive Director of Policy and Engagement at Environment and Climate Change Canada from December 2018 to February 2020. Prior to that, Beler worked at Statistics Canada from October 2003 to October 2023, where roles included Director of Official Release Publishing Creative Services and Census Communications Manager, eventually becoming the Director of Official Release and Communication Services. Beler's career also includes a marketing position at Vircom from September 1998 to March 2000. Beler earned a Commerce degree with a focus on Marketing from Concordia University between 1993 and 1996.
