Larry MacNabb

Larry MacNabb possesses extensive experience in statistical roles across various organizations. From November 1997 to March 2001, Larry worked as a Social/Demographic Statistician for the Government of the Northwest Territories, followed by a position as a Statistician at the Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia from May 1995 to November 1997. Larry's tenure at Statistics Canada spanned multiple roles, including Section Chief, Survey Manager, and Assistant Director from April 2005 to March 2007. Larry later served as A/Director General and Manager of the Data Operations Center for the 2016 Census from December 2021 to May 2024, leading a large team in crucial operational activities. Currently, Larry holds the position of Director General at Statistics Canada, focusing on special transformational projects. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Statistics and an Honours of Science in Statistics and Biology from Dalhousie University.
