Mark Uhrbach

Mark Uhrbach is an experienced government official who currently serves as the Chief of the Centre of Expertise for the Digital Economy at Statistics Canada. With a solid background in economics and extensive experience in analyzing survey results related to electronic commerce, innovation, and advanced technology, Mark has authored numerous published works in these fields. Previously, Mark held various positions at Statistics Canada, including Economist and Senior Analyst, and contributed as a Policy Analyst at Industry Canada. They also played key roles in international forums as both Vice Chair and Chair of the Working Party on Measurement and Analysis of the Digital Economy with the OECD, further showcasing their expertise in the intersection of digital economy policy and statistical measurement. Mark holds Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Economics from The University of Calgary.
