Michael Daoust, CFA, is a Senior Economist at Statistics Canada, where they currently lead a team focused on Canada's Real Estate Construction sector. Previously, they held roles as Associate in Institutional Equity Research at CIBC Capital Markets and Senior Economist at Statistics Canada. Michael gained early experience through internships as an Internal Auditor at the National Capital Commission and as an Accounting Assistant at the Royal Canadian Mint. They graduated with Honours from the University of Ottawa in 2016, earning a Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Finance.
