Taylor Mitchell

Taylor Mitchell is a Senior Economist and Program Manager at Statistics Canada, currently leading the analysis, dissemination, and communication of the Consumer Price Index. They have previously held roles in various capacities at Statistics Canada, including Unit Head of CPI Analysis and Economist, where they provided subject matter expertise and managed teams. Taylor’s early career includes customer service roles at Walmart Canada and academic positions as a teaching assistant and invigilator at McMaster University. They earned multiple degrees from McMaster University, including an Hon. Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Arts in Economic Policy.
