Marcel Moritz

Marcel Moritz is a sustainability strategist at Huddinge kommun, where they focus on social sustainability in urban planning, governance, and follow-up processes. With over 25 years of experience in social sustainability at various governmental levels, Marcel has developed tools and models to promote sustainable community development. They are the chair of SCB's user council for regional statistics and have initiated key projects like Huddingeanalysen and Södertörnsanalysen, advancing data-driven development and integration of AI in decision-making. Previously, they worked as a project leader at SKL, where they introduced citizen budgeting in Sweden.
