Celeste Cutting

Celeste Cutting has extensive experience in statistical and governance roles, primarily at Stats NZ since September 2017, where positions have included Unit Manager for the Integrated Statistical Data System and Senior Manager for Statistical Registers. Additional responsibilities have included acting as Senior Manager for Legislative and Statistics Policy and serving as Manager of Data Services Development. Prior to Stats NZ, positions were held at the New Zealand Defence Force as a Senior Governance Advisor and at the Department of Internal Affairs as a Senior Business Advisor. Earlier experience includes roles at the National Library of New Zealand as an Advisor in Planning and Development and as an ESO. Celeste Cutting holds a Master of Philosophy in Geography and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Massey University.
