Chen Eva

Chen Eva currently serves on the Ethnic Communities Advisory Panel for Auckland Council and holds the position of Community Engagement Senior Advisor for Census 2023 at Stats NZ, having previously been a Community Engagement Advisor. Additionally, Chen Eva is involved with the Tauiwi Caucus at the Ministry of Justice and serves as a Community Liaison for the New Zealand Electoral Commission. Since June 2021, Chen Eva has been a member of the Royal Commission Ministerial Advisory Group with Kapuia, offering independent advice to the Government. As Marketing Director at Hawaiki Nui Ltd and Volunteer Project Coordinator for the Wellbeing Charitable Trust - Chinese Family Service, Chen Eva's responsibilities include event organization and community engagement, particularly with the Chinese community. Previous roles include acting as CEO for the Wellbeing Charitable Trust from 2014 to 2022 and serving as a SKIP Champion for Oranga Tamariki, focusing on supporting families within migrant communities. Chen Eva holds a Bachelor of Information Systems from Massey University and is currently pursuing further education at Auckland University of Technology.
