Mark Turner has extensive experience in various roles related to community wellbeing and statistical analysis. Notable positions include serving as a Community Wellbeing Outcomes Advisor at the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority, a Statistical Analyst at Stats NZ, and currently functioning as a Senior Advisor focusing on Indicators Aotearoa NZ at Statistics New Zealand. In addition, Mark Turner held the role of Director at Clarity Research Ltd and contributed to the Pacific Community-SPC as a Development Indicator Officer. Prior to these roles, Mark was involved in early intervention research for psychosis at Totara House and co-chaired the Research Committee at the Collaborative for Research and Training in Youth Health and Development. Mark Turner holds a Master of Science in Psychology with first-class honours from the University of Canterbury and a Doctor of Philosophy in Health/Medical Psychology from the University of Otago.
