Sam Callander is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and community service. Currently serving as the Manager of Census Methodology at Stats NZ since April 2022, Sam leads a team in designing and assuring statistical methodologies. Previous roles include Community Funding Manager and Community Governance Manager at Christchurch City Council, where responsibilities encompassed managing community funding, advocating for community interests, and supporting governance decisions.
