Trish McAuliffe

Trish McAuliffe has a strong career in finance and business management. Trish is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Stats NZ since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand, where they held multiple positions including Head of Business and Commercial (CFO) from July 2021 to September 2022, and CFO from May 2017 to July 2021. Before joining Toitū Te Whenua, Trish worked at the Ministry for the Environment as the Director Strategic Business Performance (CFO) from April 2015 to May 2017. Trish also served as the Director of Finance at the Archdiocese of Wellington from September 2011 to March 2015. Trish gained significant experience as the Chief Financial Officer at MAF from April 2007 to July 2011. Trish started their career at the Land Transport Safety Authority as a Management Accountant from October 1999 to July 2004.

Trish McAuliffe attended Sacred Heart Girls College from 1983 to 1987. In 1978, they enrolled at Victoria University of Wellington and graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Zoology/Animal Biology.
