Markus Klausmann

Markus Klausmann has extensive work experience in sales, marketing, and event management roles. Markus currently works at Stats Perform as the Director of Sales for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Germany, a position they have held since October 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Sales Executive at Stats Perform from April 2022 to October 2023 and a Senior Sales Executive for the Germany region from November 2020 to April 2022. Markus also worked as a Senior Sales Manager at Stats Perform from August 2019 to November 2020.

Before joining Stats Perform, Markus worked as a Sales Manager at Perform Group from September 2017 to August 2019. From 2013 to 2017, they had their own projects as a self-employed individual, including fundraising for the Gorilla Deutschland gGmbH, representing the Duke Gin, and initiating projects such as #munichsmileagain. Markus also worked in sport marketing and event management at Hochschule Macromedia | Macromedia University of Applied Sciences from October 2013 to March 2016.

Earlier in their career, Markus worked as a Marketing Manager at Miles Fashion GmbH from July 2012 to December 2013. Markus also worked as a freelance sports manager from 2010 to 2012 and as a Marketing Manager at Schaffelhuber academy GmbH from 2007 to 2009, where they handled organization, marketing, and sales for the Bundeskongress des DTB (German Tennis Federation) and managed sponsorships from companies such as Eurosport, Vökl, and Walt Disney. Additionally, they worked as an Event Manager at Clean Winners e.V. from 2007 to 2009, where they managed events, marketing, and sales for the Clean Winners Golf Charity and secured sponsorships from companies like Antenne Bayern and Medion.

Markus Klausmann attended the Technical University of Munich from 2001 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Sportwissenschaften (Sports Science).
