Michael Mio has extensive experience in software engineering and project management, currently serving as a Software Engineer and Manager of Broadcast Services at Stats Perform since February 2011. In this role, Michael is involved in providing statistical and analytical support for live broadcasts of various professional and collegiate sports. Previous positions include Project Manager, where Michael successfully transitioned client data deliverables to an Oracle system across multiple sports leagues, and Senior Programmer, responsible for developing dynamic SQL programs for internal research tools. Prior to Stats Perform, Michael worked at Northrop Grumman, developing mapping capabilities for Linux applications, and at STATS LLC, providing statistical support for television sports broadcasts. Michael began the career as a Programmer Analyst at ImageCat, creating a web-based tool for earthquake loss estimation. Michael holds a B.S. in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
