Karan B. began their career in 2016 as an Intern at G.K. Mittal & Associates, Chartered Accountants. In 2019, they joined Dawaa Dost as a Finance & MIS Executive, where they maintained cost-centre based accounts of 11 stores on ERP, filed GST, PF returns, and assisted in statutory audit. Karan also prepared MIS Reports and performance dashboards reportable to the management. In 2021, Karan moved to Varistor Solar as a Finance Manager, where they were responsible for managing and supervising the entire financial module as well as compliance module. Karan also entered into contracts with customers for retainership, statutory payments, e-way bills, accounts, Income tax returns, Assessments, and statutory registrations. Karan assisted external due diligence of finance requested by prospective investors, which involved detailed documentation, statutory compliances’ reporting, and accounts payable ageing. In 2022, Karan joined StatusNeo as a Consultant - Project Management & MIS.

Karan B. is currently pursuing a CFA Level 1 from the CFA Institute, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Rajasthan from 2015 to 2018. Karan also attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2014 to 2019. Karan B. completed their Senior Secondary from St. Anselm's North City School from 2006 to 2014. Karan also holds additional certifications, including Financial Analysis and Financial Modeling using MS Excel from Udemy (2022), New Models of Business in Society from the University of Virginia (2020), Ranked 1st at Management & Communication Skills Batch, Jaipur Chapter of ICAI from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (2020), and Certification Course on Ind-AS by ICAI from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (2018).
