Sid Chakravarthy began their career in 2008 as a Lead Network Engineer at CSC. In this role, they managed a 7-member Global NOC team and provided Level 2 support for Network Security incidents. In 2014, they moved to Cisco where they worked as a Software Engineer II. In 2015, they joined KEMP Technologies as a Product Manager of Emerging Technologies and R&D. During this time, they helped develop strategic partnerships and technical relationships with KEMP partners. In 2016, they founded and became the CEO of StaTwig. In 2018, they began working as a Mentor at IDEAS at SJSU. In 2020, they became an Observer of IEEE Working Group P2418.3, P2418.10, and P2144. Finally, in 2022, they joined Unlock Aid as a Board Member.

Sid Chakravarthy has a diverse educational background. In 2019, they completed an Advanced Certification Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology. From 2012 to 2013, they obtained a Master's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Maryland. Sid also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Engineering from Osmania University, obtained between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, Sid Chakravarthy has obtained several certifications, including the Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Support Specialist from Cisco in 2014, the Cisco Certified Network Professional from Cisco Systems in 2011, ITIL Foundation Version 3 from EXIN, and the Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate- Firewall and VPN Track from Juniper.
