Pascal Wiltschko has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Financial Consultant at MLP Finanzberatung SE, where they assisted in financial consulting sessions and participated in brainstorming sessions for advertisement strategies. In 2017, they served as a Student Assistant at the Chair of Econometrics at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, supporting research for a government-funded project on public safety. From 2018 to 2018, Pascal worked as a Statistician at Deutsche Bahn, collaborating with the Data Science team on projects involving predictive modeling of transport time and geospatial heatmap visualization. In 2020, they joined the European Central Bank as an HR Data Analytics Trainee, where they designed and implemented an R Shiny web application for position planning simulations, implemented data-driven approaches for tracking business consequences, and provided training sessions on statistics for HR staff. Currently, since 2021, Pascal works at statworx as a Junior Data Scientist, where they have built demand forecasting pipelines and developed web applications related to AI, Data Science, and Analytics. Pascal is also involved in promoting a modern tech stack for app development at the AI Academy team.
Pascal Wiltschko completed a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business Administration at Goethe University Frankfurt from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Statistics at KU Leuven from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Pascal has obtained several certifications including UX Design Foundations from Uxcel in August 2022, a Frontend Developer Career Path certification from Scrimba in May 2022, a Tableau Data Scientist certification from Tableau Software in May 2021, and a DSS ML Practitioner certification from Dataiku in May 2021.
