Sarah Sester

Sarah Sester has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Sarah started their career as a Student Assistant in Numerical Mathematics at Universität Mannheim in 2017. Sarah then interned at KRONEN GmbH - Food Processing Technology, where they worked in Accounting & Controlling. In 2018, they joined KPMG Deutschland as an Intern and later as a Working Student in the KPMG Lighthouse Data Analytics department. In 2020, they interned at KPMG Norway as part of the Data Analytics team. Sarah also gained experience as a Working Student in Data Science at trinamiX GmbH, where they worked on a Master's Thesis focusing on improving Near-infrared Spectroscopy models using Data Augmentation. Most recently, they transitioned to statworx, where they started as a Junior Data Scientist in November 2021 and was promoted to Data Scientist in November 2022.

Sarah Sester pursued their education in a sequential manner. From 2014 to 2017, they attended the University of Mannheim, completing their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Mathematics. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Windsor for a brief exchange semester in 2016. In 2018, they returned to the University of Mannheim to pursue a Master of Science degree in Data Science, which they successfully completed in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Sarah obtained a certification in "DP-200 Implementing an Azure Data Solution" from Microsoft in July 2020.
