Bob Sharp

Bob Sharp has over 30 years of work experience. Bob began their career in 1985 as a Reliability Laboratory Manager at Northrop Corporation. In 1988, they were a Project Manager at Ransco Industries. In 1998, they became the CEO of Data Acquisition and Control Systems, where they developed environmental and space simulation equipment, control and data acquisition systems and software, and a web-enabled distributed control system with touchscreen controls. In 2005, they were a Pioneer at Advanced Environmental Group and Co-Owner of a Health Club at SAS Fitness. Since 2016, they have been the Founder and President of STAX Engineering, a company dedicated to providing free, clean, carbon-negative power and to solve 1% of the climate crisis. Bob has also developed STAXCraft, a mobile barge-based emissions control system for oceangoing vessels.

Bob Sharp obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science / Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1981 and 1985. Bob also holds a Black Belt from the Tae Ryong Tae Kwon Do School and a Green Belt from the Shorin Ryu Karate Academy.
