About us

STCW Direct is a unique online service where at a click of a button seafarers – new and experienced - can directly book onto STCW courses with the support of a user friendly website.

STCW Direct for Seafarers

We understand that seafarers work extremely hard and that the last thing you want to do when you come home after working 7 days a week for several weeks, is call round a number of training centres to find a course that fits around your busy schedule.
That is why instead of losing hours to research, at STCW Direct we have compiled a selection of STCW courses - all into one place - so you can simply log onto our site and tailor your course options to match your needs. This can be based on: location, availability and the training centre's reputation.
Yet this is just the tip of the iceberg...

STCW Direct for Employers

We can also help to take the strain off your already busy personnel department with the support of our course management service.
Available to shipping companies and other employers in the maritime industry, simply send us a list of your crew members, and we can manage the booking and organisation of their training courses.
In fact, we can instantly make you huge savings on time and money, by strategically sending your crew on courses close to their homes. This will immediately cut costs on travel and accommodation as they can commute the short distance each day.
