Kenneth Torng

Kenneth Torng has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Kenneth began their career as an Actuarial Analyst at EMB America LLC, where they developed loss cost models and provided premium ratemaking support for U.S. auto and home insurers, created stored procedures for policyholders and claims data import, cleanup, and manipulation in Microsoft SQL Server, and wrote a tutorial for EMB Emblem proprietary modeling software. In 2010, they took on two roles: Actuarial Consultant at Rudd and Wisdom, and Co-Owner at CTTY Restaurant Holdings LLC. In 2017, they became a Software Engineer at Social Solutions. From 2018-2021, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Indeed.com. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Steadily.

Kenneth Torng obtained a B.S. in Actuarial Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009, after studying Mathematics at University of North Texas from 2005 to 2007. Kenneth also holds an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification from the Society of Actuaries.
