Richard Pope

Richard (Rick) Pope currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Development at SteadPoint, where responsibilities include providing strategic recommendations to executive management, managing complex contract negotiations, and developing corporate initiatives aligned with corporate strategy. Prior experience encompasses leadership roles in premium audit and risk management at companies such as Insurance Services Group of the Southeast, Inc. and Berkley Southwest, where Rick advanced automation efforts and enhanced underwriting training. Early career highlights include roles in insurance audits and claims management at AMERISAFE, Inc. and EXL, as well as entrepreneurship in commercial real estate and retail operations. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Northwestern State University.
