Director Of Business Development at Stealth Communications

Joe Plotkin has a long history of involvement in the tech industry. Joe began their career in 1998 as the Director of Marketing/DSL for Bway.net, where they led the company's strategic transformation from consumer dial-up to business-oriented broadband provider. In 2002, they became the Senior Strategist for TeleTruth, a customer rights group that fights against monopoly control of the public telecom infrastructure. In 2003, they joined the Board of Directors for NYCwireless, a non-profit organization that advocates for and enables the growth of free, public wireless networks. In 2012, they became a Board of Directors for the Internet Society - New York Chapter, and also the Director of Sales & Marketing for ASA Networks, LLC., a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) start-up. In 2017, they became the Director of Business Development for Stealth Communications, where they are responsible for Gigabit Fiber-Optic Internet connections for businesses in NYC.

Joe Plotkin completed a Bachelor's degree from SUNY Empire State College in 1995. Joe then went on to New York University, where they earned a Master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications Program in 1997. Prior to this, they attended Stuyvesant High School.
