Barb Throm has over 25 years of experience in media buying. Barb began their career in 1992 as a Group Manager at D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, where they evaluated, negotiated and posted Anheuser-Busch spot TV, radio/cable packages and supervised a three-person team. In 1993, they moved to DMB&B as a Media Buying Group Manager, negotiating spot radio, TV and cable buys for Denny's, Burger King, Southwestern Bell and Proctor & Gamble in various markets. From 1997 to 2013, Barb worked as a Freelancer for various companies, such as Stealth Creative, Abstrakt Marketing, Osborn&Barr and Creative LAB. From 2013 to 2019, they were an Associate Media Director at True Media, managing a team of buyers and overseeing all traditional buying for True Media clients. In 2019, Barb began their current role as Media Manager at Stealth Creative.
Barb Throm completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1979 and 1983.
