Will Yang

Will Yang possesses a diverse background in engineering, software development, and research, highlighted by experiences at various organizations. Beginning as an amateur independent musician and piano teacher, Will transitioned into technical roles such as a summer intern at the US Environmental Protection Agency, where research focused on international hydrofracking and water-energy-food nexus policies. Subsequent internships in data science and robotics engineering at Beyond Limits demonstrated capabilities in machine learning and autonomous system development. A systems engineering co-op at Abbott involved critical testing and algorithm development for cardiac devices, while research roles in universities and labs, including the UCLA Biomimetic Research Lab, encompass software development for medical applications. Will Yang holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
