Peter Owens

Peter Owens is the President and Founder of SteamIQ, a company specializing in advanced steam trap monitoring and cloud-based analytics since October 2017. Prior to this, Peter served as Sales Manager at Barnes & Jones Inc., where steam traps and repair kits were manufactured, and as Senior Account Executive at Small Business Growth Alliance, excelling in sales through client cultivation and targeting C-suite executives. Earlier experience includes roles as Yacht Broker at East Coast Yacht Sales and as Chief Engineer and Engineer on various yachts, including the MV Fortunate Sun and S/V Arabella. Peter holds a BS in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and studied Naval Architecture and Yacht Design at The Landing School.
