STEAMLabs International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making STEM education accessible, engaging, and equitable for underserved youth worldwide.
Founded in 2024, we design and deliver free hands-on science programs that spark curiosity and build confidence in K–8 students. Since launch, we have organized 50+ interactive science events across 11 U.S. cities, reaching more than 1,500 elementary students, with a particular focus on Title I schools and low-income communities.
Our model combines youth-led leadership with scalable outreach. We have recruited and trained 110+ high school volunteers across 7 states, maintaining a 98% retention rate through strong mentorship and community-building. Volunteers lead science nights, after-school workshops, and summer camps while gaining valuable experience in education, leadership, and service.
STEAMLabs has also expanded internationally through partnerships such as Henosis International, distributing 100+ experiment kits to schools in Ghana and Nigeria and piloting a virtual tutoring program with 25+ active tutors supporting students abroad. To sustain these initiatives, we have secured $25,750+ in grants, awards, and technology credits to fund programs for underfunded schools.
At its core, STEAMLabs International strives to ignite a love for learning, reduce inequities in STEM education, and empower the next generation of innovators. Our vision is to connect communities globally through science, proving that curiosity has no borders.
