Mae Berglas

Mae Berglas is a skilled Service Designer at Steampunk, Inc. since June 2022, specializing in user research and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance tools and automation within federal agencies. Prior experience includes serving as a Design & Strategy Intern and an Instructional Designer/Art and Design Teacher with Henrico County Public Schools, where Mae designed engaging learning experiences and facilitated workshops to improve student understanding. As a Product Designer, Mae led a team to create the school district’s first virtual student art show, reaching over 50,000 community members. Mae holds a Master of Education in Educational Innovation and Human Centered Design from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University.
