Óscar Soares

Óscar Soares has a diverse work experience starting from 2017. Óscar worked as a Python Developer at SteelEye since April 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles in Rotaract including Treasurer, President, and Secretary. From September 2019 to March 2020, Óscar worked as a Researcher at CEB - Centro de Engenharia Biológica. Óscar also completed a Master Thesis Project at Escola de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho from October 2018 to November 2019. In addition, Óscar worked at U.DREAM in different roles such as External and Financial Relations Member, External Relations Member, and External Relations Trainee, where they gained experience in Salesforce CRM, budgeting, and creating impactful events.

Óscar Soares completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Molecular Biomedicine from the Universidade de Aveiro in the period of 2014-2017. Óscar then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Bioinformatics at the Escola de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho from 2017-2019. Alongside their formal education, they also obtained certifications, including attending the "To move or not to move: how to control sperm motility" meeting at the Universidade de Aveiro in April 2017 and the VII Jornadas Nacionais de Ciências Biomédicas organized by the Comissão Organizadora das VII Jornadas de Ciências Biomédicas in March 2016.
