Sam Taylor

Sam Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Sam currently serves as the Head of Pre-Sales and Product Specialists at SteelEye, where they focus on trade and order data, surveillance, and regulatory compliance. Prior to this, Sam worked as a Pre-Sales Specialist, collaborating closely with customers to understand their requirements and develop the product suite at SteelEye.

Before joining SteelEye, Sam worked as a Pre-Sales Consultant at b-next group, supporting various global clients in areas such as market abuse monitoring, trade surveillance, and compliance. Prior to that, they spent a significant portion of their career at Thomson Reuters, first as a Senior Desktop Design Specialist, where they managed the displacement of competitor market data vendors and collaborated with clients and internal stakeholders. Later, they transitioned into the role of Client Trainer, providing training on various Thomson Reuters products to users from different asset classes.

Sam's early experience includes working as an Operations Assistant at Prevista.

Sam Taylor attended Caistor Grammar from 1994 to 1999, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period. Following that, from 1999 to 2002, Sam pursued a Law LLB (Hons) degree in the field of Law at The University of Sheffield.
