Brian Leach

Brian Leach is the founder and CEO of Steelray Software, a company known for its pioneering work in project schedule analysis software. Brian has held this role since April 2000. Prior to Steelray Software, Brian worked as a program manager at Red Hat in 2000, Cygnus Solutions from 1997 to 2000, and Motorola from 1996 to 1997. Brian also served as a consultant for IBM from 1991 to 1996 and Ford Motor Company in 1991 and 1992. Brian began their career as a software developer at Harris Computer Systems from 1986 to 1990.

Brian Leach earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Math/Computer Science from Emory University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Brian then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing their studies from 1984 to 1985. In addition to their formal education, Brian has also obtained certifications in Customer Analytics from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2016, and in Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI in August 2007.
