Tom Taylor

Tom Taylor is a seasoned professional in the engineering and sustainability sectors, with a robust career spanning various roles and companies. Tom began as an Assistant Electrician at G A Cook Electrical, working on high-profile projects such as the Copenhagen Opera House and London Coliseum Theatre. Tom subsequently held positions at EngDesign Ltd, focusing on sustainable solutions and energy efficiency. At BRE Global, Tom served as Principal Consultant, Sustainability, leading the design and technical development of BREEAM, a major environmental assessment method. Most recently, Tom advanced through multiple roles at Steensen Varming, ultimately reaching the position of Associate Director, where expertise in mechanical and electrical services design was showcased. Tom holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton and an MSc in Building Services from Brunel University.
