Founded in 1925, Steep Rock Association is a nationally-accredited land trust conserving, caring for, and engaging people to the land in and around Washington, CT.   We invite you to explore the trails in our four preserves open to the public. They include Steep Rock,  Hidden Valley, Macricostas, and West Mountain.  Or learn more about Judea Garden at Macricostas Preserve, which growns and donates over 3,000 pounds of fresh organic vegetables to food banks and neighbors in need in Litchfield County.
