Simon Statham

Simon brings over 20 years of experience working across an extremely wide spectrum of technical disciplines and across consultancy, local, and national government in the UK and overseas.

At Steer, Simon will help to strengthen and broaden the Policy and Strategy capability. He will also be the founding member of the new office, which will be based in Birmingham and will allow Steer to continue the rapid growth as well as develop the commitment to work more closely with clients in the Midlands.

Simon previously worked at Midlands Connect (the sub-national transport body for the Midlands), where he spent the last seven years building their now highly regarded technical function as the Chief Technical Officer.
