John Wasko

John Wasko, PhD, is an experienced data science professional and military veteran with a diverse background in analytics, strategic planning, and technology insertion. They served as a Senior Program Analyst on the U.S. Army Staff and later held key roles within the Defense Information Systems Agency and U.S. Cyber Command, focusing on integrating advanced technologies to bolster cybersecurity and operational capabilities. Currently, Wasko is the Chief Executive Officer of Dovera Consulting, where they leverage technology and analytics to enhance organizational outcomes, and serves as Principal Data Scientist at SteerBridge Strategies. They also hold an adjunct faculty position at Virginia Tech and have previously taught at the United States Military Academy. Wasko earned a PhD in Evaluation, Design, Measurement and Statistics from the University of Maryland College Park and multiple advanced degrees throughout their academic career.
