Rick Penn

Rick Penn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various organizations. Currently, Rick serves as a Venture Center Advisor at the University of Minnesota since March 2017 and holds the position of Board Director at Nott Company since June 2023. Previously, Rick was a Board Director, and later Board Chair, for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities from August 2017 to December 2022. Rick's career at Hutchinson Technology Inc. spanned over six years in multiple executive roles, including CEO, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Division President. Additionally, Rick is an active Board Director at various organizations, including the Center of the American Experiment, Steffes Corp., and Zeus Electric Chassis, Inc., and serves as an Advisory Board Director for IRD Glass. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA with a focus on Marketing and Finance from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
