Marcel Birkhahn

Marcel Birkhahn has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marcel began their career at WWOOF New Zealand in 2010 as a farm worker, gaining experience in farm work, gardening, and painting. From 2011 to 2012, Marcel worked as a promotion helper at HNA, primarily focusing on advertising. In 2012, they began working as a working student at Fokko Gesundheitszentrum, where they specialized in CI design for print and web. Marcel then joined Alexanderplatz Hamburg GmbH in 2014, where they had roles as an intern and later as a working student. At GLOBIT - Global Information Technology GmbH, Marcel completed their bachelor thesis in 2015, focusing on prototypical development of a web-based interface for program planning. That same year, they joined ABOUT YOU GmbH as a working student, primarily working as a front-end developer for EDITED Shop & App and as a WordPress developer for EDITED The Blog. Marcel's most recent work experience is at Steinberg Media Technologies, where they have held the roles of web developer, technical lead web development, and master thesis since 2017. Marcel Birkhahn completed their education at Technische Hochschule Lübeck. From 2015 to 2022, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Media Informatics. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Informationstechnology & Design from the same institution between 2011 and 2015. Marcel also attended Grotefend Gymnasium from 2003 to 2010 and achieved an Abitur degree.
