Katie Mitchell

Katie Mitchell has worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at STELCO - The Steel Company of Canada since June 2021. Before that, they worked at Boston Pizza International Inc for 18 years as a Manager from April 2003 to June 2021 and as a Community Relations Coordinator from September 2011 to September 2013.

Katie Mitchell has a diverse educational background. In 2006, they began their undergraduate studies at Brock University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and History. Katie completed their undergraduate studies in 2010. Following that, Katie attended Niagara College in 2010 and 2011, where they obtained a certificate in Public Relations. In 2020, they returned to Niagara College to pursue another certificate, this time in Human Resources Management.

In addition to their formal education, Katie has also obtained several certifications. In February 2020, they completed courses on Human Resources: Selecting an HR System, Human Resources: Understanding HR Systems Features and Benefits, Human Resources: Using Metrics to Drive HR Strategy, and Public Speaking: Energize and Engage Your Audience. These certifications were earned through online courses offered by LinkedIn.
