Mark Demelo

Mark DeMelo is an experienced environmental specialist currently serving as the Senior Environmental Specialist and ISO 14001 Coordinator at STELCO - The Steel Company of Canada since November 2018. Previous roles include Environmental and ISO 14001 Coordinator and Environmental Coordinator at the same company. Prior to this, Mark held multiple positions at Klenzoid Canada Inc. from August 2013 to November 2018, including Water & Energy Manager, Technical Representative, and Water Quality Analyst. Mark's career in the industry began at U.S. Steel Canada, where the role of Process Operator was held from November 2010 to August 2013. Mark holds a Bachelor's Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology/Biochemistry with a Major in Pharmacology from Western University.
