Michael Houghtaling

Michael Houghtaling has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Michael began their career in 1989 as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the United States Air Force, where they eventually rose to the position of Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent. During their time in the Air Force, they prioritized safety and quality, inspecting completed work and implementing clear safety policies. Michael also played a key role in training and mentoring new and junior personnel.

Following their service in the Air Force, Houghtaling joined Conagra Brands in 2015 as an Operations and Sanitation Team Lead. Michael focused on improving production and sanitation processes, conducting daily inspections of equipment, and providing monthly safety training for the team.

In 2018, Houghtaling joined Lycoming Engines as a Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor. Michael excelled in coordinating maintenance schedules, minimizing downtime, and implementing safety policies to protect workers.

In 2020, Houghtaling transitioned to L3 Harris as a Production Supervisor, where they oversaw production operations.

Most recently, in 2021, Houghtaling joined Stellant Systems, Inc. Michael started as an Operations Supervisor and quickly ascended to the role of Operations Manager in 2022.

Throughout their career, Houghtaling has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and an ability to improve processes and efficiency.

Michael Houghtaling earned their Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they studied from 2003 to 2011.
