Eric Simental has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as a Unit Leader Specialist for Paint Robots application at Stellantis since April 2016. In this role, Eric oversees the production line for top coat and seal applications, managing 37 paint robots and various related systems while focusing on achieving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and ensuring paint quality. Prior to this position, Eric worked as a Maintenance Coordinator at Daimler Trucks North America from January 2010 to April 2016, where responsibilities included maintenance management for paint shop equipment and leading a team of engineers and technicians. Eric began a career at Dürr from November 2007 to January 2010 as an Electrical/Software Engineer, leading the development and integration of paint process systems. Eric holds an Engineer’s Degree in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in digital systems from Instituto Tecnologico de Durango, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
