Florian Sommer

Florian Sommer is a seasoned purchasing manager with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving at Stellantis since February 2021, focusing on program purchasing and purchasing strategy, as well as electrification and powertrain. Prior to this, Florian held a purchasing manager position at Groupe PSA, overseeing automatic transmissions and eMachines from September 2017 to February 2021. Florian's career began at General Motors, where responsibilities included global commodity management for powertrain purchasing and leadership roles in electronic modules and infotainment commodities from December 2005 to August 2017. Florian holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Freie Universität Berlin, earned between 2000 and 2004.
