Mitch Danowski

Mitch Danowski is a seasoned professional in the automotive engineering field, currently serving as the Electrified Propulsion System Calibration Subject Matter Expert for Safety Calibration at Stellantis since June 2017. In this role, Mitch leads the global expertise in safety calibration for electrified propulsion systems, emphasizing mild hybrid and battery electric vehicle platforms, while holding a DFSS Green Belt certification. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Researcher in Human Factors at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, where Mitch contributed to studies on inter-vehicle communication and driver behavior. Additionally, an engineering co-op position at Hutchinson FTS involved significant contributions to the design and development of cooling systems for major automotive clients. Mitch holds a B.S.E in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an automotive concentration from Oakland University.
